Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: *** is being dishonest about the way she handled the situation, her hanging up on me, and me hanging up on her She is being honest about me calling repeatedly because I was hoping that someone else would answer Eventually I resorted to faxing her because FedEx customer service told me that I could not file a claim-Goin Postal would have to file the claim because they hold the contract with FedEx I never received an email in response to my faxAlso, my mailbox is a locked neighborhood mailbox that cannot be accessed by FedEx-only USPS Also, *** with Goin Postal confirmed that they often mix up packagesI would like a full refund and for ***'s manager to be made aware of these mishaps
Regards,
Quien Lagrone

I am sorry to hear that we have a complaint through the Revdex.com, but am glad because I can express the truth that has taken place. Silverleaf did bring Mrs. [redacted] wedding rings over to our business to have them shipped back at her expense. We deal with these kind of shipments on an...
almost daily basis. We also ship out with FedEx, UPS, USPS, and DHl. I personally spoke with Mrs. [redacted] when the rings were brought in. She chose FedEx as her shipping choice, because their estimated shipping was the quickest. We are an authorized shipper for the previously mentioned companies. Once we send a package out we are no longer held liable for the contents. If any claim is needed the customer would need to call the shipping company directly. As far, as Mrs. [redacted] stating we did not call her back that is false, we did contact her whenever we heard of any information. When no new information was coming through I spoke with our route driver for another alternative in finding her rings. He then gave me [redacted]( a FedEx representative who works with lost packages) number for Mrs. [redacted] to contact. On top of speaking with the driver I also called FedEx and tried to locate the package. I see the driver for FedEx on a daily basis his name is [redacted] and he stated Mrs. [redacted] Is mixing up what he said. He never stated that he expressed that sometimes Goin Postal accidentally sends their FedEx packages to the USPS. We have a very detailed system to wear packages go out with the correct carriers. If for some reason a mix up did happen and a FedEx package went to USPS they would of sent it back. The post office does not deliver packages that do not have USPS postage. We also have proof where in the past the tracking numbers for FedEx do not show any scans, however the packages do show up. The reason for Goin' Postal not answering Mrs. [redacted] phone calls is very simple. On June 4th when Mrs. [redacted] stated I hung up in her face, she is not telling the truth. I stayed on the phone with her for about 30 minutes while she was raising her voice and threatening to take me to court because and I quote," someone needs to pay for my rings," I told her if she feels like she needs to take me to court that is fine and I am sorry. She then stated," No you are not, I only live three hours away, and I do not mind coming to your office and take things outside with you." She then continued to hang up on me. She proceeded to call me for four hours straight without any pauses to my work phone. I also received a Fax from her stated she wanted me to put a claim in, so I sent her this e-mail. I received your fax, and will put in a claim for you. Thereis just some information I need. What is the cost of the rings? I will alsoneed proof of the cost via receipt or appraisal. You can send it to me in anattachment. The reason I have not answered your phone calls is because, youwere very rude, aggressive, and you threatened to drive over here to my office and “ take things outside”. Those were your words. I have also notatedhow many times you have called and per the Texas penal code 42.07. harassment “causesthe telephone of another to ring repeatedly or makes repeated telephonecommunications anonymously or in a manner reasonably likely to harass, annoy, alarm, abuse, torment, embarrass, or offend another. I will be more than willing to help in any way ourestablishment can, but all communication will have to be through e-mail or fax.I am trying to run a business, and can’t have my telephone tied up for fourhours straight. Since June 5th we have not received any calls from Mrs. [redacted] did state that on June 5th she did call him to his personally phone to let him know her package was delivered. There is no way USPS delivered it without any USPS postage. Even Mrs. [redacted] stated there was a FedEx label. FedEx does leave packages in mailboxes sometimes for protection if customer is not home.
Review: I am writing this complaint in reference to the business known as Goin' Postal located at [redacted], WV [redacted]. I contacted this business in order to have two items shipped as they were the only business in the area that could handle the specifications of the items. I went to the business and spoke to the employee whom asked for my information and began to start the process to ship. I brought the items in for them to look at and weigh to give me a price on packaging and shipping. After I was told of the price for packaging and shipping combined, which was around $370, I was okay with the price and told them to start to package the items. I left the business and came back about and hour and a half later to pay the invoice for shipping. As I was ready to pay the employee gave me the total which was twice the amount that she had told me when I came in. At no point in the conversation did she tell me that the price she quoted me was per each item. I double checked her price by going to the [redacted]) website and typing in the dimensions and weight of each package, which was 15 inches wide, 15 inches tall and 96 inches long. The price I was given on [redacted]s site was around $300 for both shipped to Zip Code [redacted].. This was for standard [redacted] Ground shipping. Why the employee tried to charge me over $700 which did not include the $108.23 I payed for the packaging and wrapping to have them shipped. I am requesting that an investigation be done to inquire why they are charging rates that are twice the amount they should be.Desired Settlement: I am requesting that the business be investigated for their pricing and shipping rates and for explanation on the reasoning behind the prices being doubled. I am also requesting a refund of the money I paid for the packaging as the amount is overpriced and misrepresented in the initial conversation.
