Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I do not have any student...
loans with Golden Tree Asset Management nor have I received any letters requesting permission or informing me of my credit being checked. The FTC has informed to ask for the reason of the hard inquiry as well as the privacy policy in which states that they can periodically request a hard inquiry without my permission.

Review: I received an alert from TransUnion stating that my social security number has been used and there has been a hard inquiry on my credit report by Goal Strcutured Solutions Inc recently although I never applied or gave permission for any business in the last couple months to check my credit report. I tried contacting them, their phone lines only have options to leave voicemails which I have done twice and I sent out 2 e-mails but to no avail. I would like to know if I'm the victim of Fraud or if this is a mistake. I am applying for apartments right now and this inquiry reduced my credit score and I do not want this mistake to affect my apartment hunting.Desired Settlement: I would like them to contact me back so I know what the inquiry was for and if it was a mistake for them to send a letter to TransUnion explaining so and taking the inquiry off my record.

Review: I was informed in June that my student loan had gone into default and had been transferred to Goal Structure Solutions for settlement. I immediately contacted them and informed them I would pay the full amount of my debt at $21K. [redacted] informed me that they could not collect payment and I would need to wait until a collections agency contacted me. I asked her how long this would be and she told me between 4-6 weeks. I waited and called her back after not hearing anything. I left message upon message as well as reached out via email to find out where my debt was. When I finally received a call back, I was told by [redacted] that my debt had been transferred to NCO collection agency. I immediately called these company and after one hour, was told that my loan had not been transferred.
I again called [redacted] at the beggining of August to find out when I could pay-off the loan. At this point she told me it takes 90-110 days for the loan to go to collections...contrary to what I had been told. She informed me she would contact me via phone to let me know the exact date that my debt would be transferred to the collection agency. I never received a response back.
Again, I called [redacted] (the only individual who these calls get routed to) in early September. She guarunteed me that I would have the debt collector contact me no later than the second week in October for settlement.
It is now the end of October and I have once again reached out to Goal Solutions. Today, I called with my name, social security number and phone number and was placed on hold by [redacted]. I was on hold for 5 minutes before I was either hung-up on or disconnected. I immediately called [redacted] back and received her voicemail. Again, I left my contact number and pleaded for her to return my call.
It is now more than five months that I have been trying to resolve this debt and am getting nowhere with Goal Structure Solutions.Desired Settlement: I just want to pay off this $21,000 debt as soon as possible.

Review: I was informed through a credit alert that there was a new Hard Inquiry posted on my account on 11/18 from the Subscriber Goal Structured Solutions. Since I have not authorized any such inquiries on my credit line and I am not delinquent on any student loans this new inquiry was concerning. I first contacted Goal Structured Solutions and it took them 4 days to even return my call despite calling during business hours. When I was able to finally talk to someone they informed me that they do not handle the credit tracking and they then sent me to ACS who informed me that they did not place any inquiries on my account since it is in repayment and is not past due. I then called back Goal Structured Solutions and have not had a response. Seeing as the inquiry was listed under the Goal Structured name and address, I do not appreciate getting the run around, particularly when credit/identity fraud is so prevalent. I have issued a fraud alert on my credit line, since I am not able to confirm where this inquiry has come from and it was most certainly not an authorized inquiry from my end.Desired Settlement: I would like to be informed of where this inquiry has come from so that I can take the necessary steps to protect my identity and/or have it removed from my account since hard inquiries such as the one made by Goal Structured Loans remain on your account for up to 3 years.
