Initial Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2015/11/05) */
The truck was towed from a No Parking Fire lane the first time. The resident did acknowledge this fact and the photos documented this fact.
The second towing happened because the towing driver did not find parking permit displayed as...
resident was instructed. Photos show there is no visable parking permit. The resident was instructed to contact [redacted] directly to show them where the tag is displayed and [redacted] would waive the towing fees. Howerver, the resident elected not follow these instructions.
IPM Residential is not fiancially responsible for the towing expenses.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 12, 2015/11/12) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
For the first incident I acknowledged that the truck was not parked in a legal spot and I never saw the documented photos. The truck was not in a fire lane, parking bumpers are painted yellow and not red. If this is a fire lane I would like to know why the maintenance manager's truck has not been towed because it is in the "fire lane" and I have pictures of [redacted] not towing the truck.
Second towing, [redacted] said to relay matters to IPM.
Either way I am frustrated that IPM entered into a towing agreement without submitting permits to tenants first or informing tenants that permits would be issued.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 15, 2015/11/13) */
Ingallnook Townhomes only allows one parking permit per unit. This policy was in place prior to this residents occupancy and is now monitored per the new parking system. The second vehicle has been illegally parking in the lot since move in. The new system is designed to monitor and inforce this policy. These residents need to accept responsibility for their error and IPM nor Ingallnook Townhomes are responsible to refund the towing charges.
Ms. [redacted] needs to speak directly to [redacted] is she feels they were in error of towing and seek reimbursement through them.
