We started the pool for the [redacted] in March this yearThe contract price for the pool was $95kThis price was for x pool with perimeter feetThe patio size was square feet on contractAs we started the project ( layout and inspection) they changed the pool size( larger) then as we were excavating the pool site, they changed it again( even larger).With the pool size changing, the excavation cost more, there was more steel, more gunite and more rock, tile, and labor(Roughly 25k charges at contractor cost) .They had not paid any additional money for these changesThe patio was square foot when it was finished( per owner request) this cost was $additional ( the [redacted] did not pay for this) We built a fire pit on the island area of the pool( this is on the contract), the owner decided he wanted this fire pit to be moved over after it was built, he demanded we change itWhich we did, but we were not paid for the additional expenses ($contractor cost) The [redacted] paid Advanced Aquatics 12k more for some changes( this did not even cover the cost of the pool size change) Our business has $105k in cost in this pool at this time( this is cost, no profit at all) Advanced aquatics notified the clients that there was not enough money to finish their pool in July, the pool was 98% completeThe [redacted] refused to pay any additional money to Advanced Aquatics to finish the jobThey actually still owe 10K per the contract! The [redacted] also took it upon themselves to call our contractors and have work done, without our knowledge.As for the fire bowls:The [redacted] wanted fire bowls ordered for the pool, the order was placed for the bowlsSince there was no payment for the additional work, add ons, or changesThere was no money left to purchase these bowlsThe client cost for these bowls are $each ( $total) we allowed them to buy them from the distibuter for $each.The neighbors that we built for had no issues with Advanced AquaticsThis is slanderPrice change depends on materials for project.Feel free to contact us, if you have any questions.We will not be paying the [redacted] any money, They can pay Advanced Aquatics for the work that was doneWe will give them $back after they pay us for the additional work and changes
