Review: We took our car to the mechanic and were issued a $200 bill for a diagnostic. A simple diagnostic does not cost that much. Furthermore, their customer rights printed on the receipt claims that "you are entitled to a written estimate if repairs exceed $25." We were not given a written estimate and the bill list services that were not performed. A call to the mechanic did not yield much explanation as to why were were charged 2 hours for a simple diagnostic.Desired Settlement: We deserved a refund for work not provided.
