They originally sent me a email claiming to be Microsoft. I had a problem. Called the number it was Giltedge. I had been hacked according to them. North Korea and Russia were the IP's used..
They said they would fix it, for life if I paid a substantial amount (reduced because I am a senior citizen. Must have had my stupid hat on cause I bought into it. From that day forward I have received a ton of scam calls from all sorts of deals. Medicare cards, knee bracs, back braces DNA tests for cancer and o and on. And of course many more computer scams. Hacking, viruses ect.

Giltedge's latest "you need external; security". For another couple thousand. My network is compromised. Huh? I am not on a network, I do not have devices. I do not do online banking and almost never shop. I guess I am on their sucker list. And oh by the way they need to remotely access your computer and want you to leave it on while they root about at their leisure. I'd say stay clear of these folks. It may be one or two bad actors or it may be the whole company. But if you are on limited income these guys are TROUBLE.
