Review: Paid Gibralter HVAC over $3500.00 to install energy efficient heater/cooler. (Invoice attached, scan #1-3 includes his "repairs"-their words, not mine). Never properly worked because it was not a closed system. The seals were broken from the start. Was constantly leaking freon into the ground and breaking down. When purchased I paid extra for labor warranty in anticipation of possible problems. Endless problems from the start, never a solution when Gibralter HVAC attempted to fix incorrectly installed unit. Gibralter HVAC would constantly stall until the labor warranty expired. Now Gibralter HVAC claims it is not his responsibility, had to pay another company ([redacted] Scan #*) $504.79 to repair and is still not fully resolved until warmer weather. System is running on emergency heat instead of energy efficiency. Costing excessive amounts of money for inflated electric bills to heat my home .Desired Settlement: I chose refund, though I wish I could choose replacement. Gibralter HVAC has proven they are incapable of replacing the unit. They are incapable of fixing the unit they improperly installed. They cannot replace what must be replaced so I am requesting a refund to pay another company to replace the unit. This is becoming extremely costly on my electric bills ironically because it was to purchase an energy efficient unit with the intent on saving money.
