Getty Gas Station

Review: I brought my volvo to the Getty station to have a gasket change and a tune up. The car had no issues other than the check engine light being on. We were told that the gasket change would fix that. We were charged $450.00 When we picked the car up, it was immediately making noises it had never made before. We brought it back and were told it need additional services. We were suspicious of this and brought the truck home to think about it. The next day the check oil light came on and white smoke was coming out of the exhaust. We were told by them that we needed an additional $600 in services. We had the car picked up by another mechanic and upon a service check (and documented pictures) the oil was never changed, the gasket was never changed, the air filter was never changed and the spark plugs that were replaced were the wrong ones for the volvo truck. All of this resulting in further damage to the vehicle. We now have $3,000 in further damages to the truck. The Getty station had said they would make good and reimburse us for any damages that were incurred, which they have not done.Desired Settlement: I would like not only the refund on the original charge of $450 but we are seeking damages for the damage that has resulted in their neglegance
