I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I am not asking for a refundJust that the fees be posted upfront especially when it is almost 1/of the price of installation for an hour jobThe reference to the *** is that we were not desperate for hot water because we have a membership at the *** and we can take showers over there until my water heater got replacedNext time, please make sure you bring your partner with you and not have him come towards the end of the jobWithout my help, you wouldn't have been able to bring the new water heater to the basement.Please understand that my frustration come from the fact that the fees were not posted upfrontI suggest you add a link, to your flyer, for people to check the prices before they call a plumber.

Hello,Attached is the flyer hanging in the stores, and is given to each and every customer.  It informs all customers of the necessary charges, and the potential charges.  It is a legal necessity to pull a permit for our work, and the penalties could cost me my license and livelihood....

 It's like saying "if I knew a speeding ticket was so expensive, I wouldn't have been speeding".  We went over to replace the heater after work hours, for no extra charge, because they had no hot water for some time.  If he has a complaint about the high amount of the permit, and it is high, he should call the City of Milwaukee, not the plumber!Thank you.

I don't understand the [redacted] reference.  I said I would replace the water heater when we were done with the job for the day, that may be between 2-3 pm, but I would call when we were on our way, it was later, but still after our regular working hours. The reason the prices for the permits are not posted is because they are different in every municipality.  There will not be any refund, as it is a requirement in the State of Wisconsin to pull a plumbing permit when any part if the plumbing system is altered.  It is the law, and just because you didn't know, or can't understand it, does not excuse you from it.  If you want to complain more about the cost of the permit, or the fact that it is necessary, take that up with the City of Milwaukee.
