Geraci Custom Remodeling

In response to Ms***'s complaint: our business did indeed agree to install vinyl flooring at no charge for LABOR. Ms*** was to pay for the materials. This was a verbal agreement (not part of the county lead grant). When Ms*** was given the cost for the material (that she
picked out), she was apparently not pleased with this price and wanted our business to pay for the materials as well - this was not part of the verbal agreement. When Ms*** received a check from Monroe County to pay Geraci Custom Remodeling for work completed under the lead grant, she refused to sign over the check until the aforementioned floor was complete. A contract was signed between Ms*** and GCR stating that the floor would be done once the check FROM THE COUNTY was signed over. She did sign over the check. GCR feels as tough she held the check "hostage" to get what she wanted. We consider the contract to be signed under duress, which would render the contract void.And YES, GCR does indeed claim income on our federal and state taxes.As far as the electrical issues, the job was inspected by the county before it was submitted for payment. There were no problems upon inspection.Thank you

Mr. Joe Geraci , Stated he would he would replace the flooring in the two rooms in back apartment living room and dinning room, " at no charge"......and the grant is always "PAID "in the home owners name .....and than gets cashed or signed over to the contractorso I don't think he claims it on NY state taxes......
