Vicki, how can these people be contacted and held accountable for erroneous information? Have you contacted the FTC? Take note, RealPage just reached settlement on a $3MM fine from the FTC and they rely on this 'data aggregator' for arrest information.

Erroneous arrest record and pleading for a person with my name but included in a report where DOB is listed as 1-1-XXXX to 12-31-XXXX. These are felonies reports and have affected my ability to clear a background check. It is not me. But that one year time period encompasses a lot of citizens with, perhaps, a subset of my name (ie full middle name missing, no proper suffix included)

Genuine Data sold inaccurate data to Leasing Desk, someone's criminal record, different name/same last name. They also stated I had an eviction and owed monies. Leasing Desk purchased the information and did not verify/confirm. Filed dispute with Leasing Desk but I am still impacted and seen as a high risk tenant. These digital bandits rake snap shots of our lives and misrepresent it, then they hid thru the FTC and poorly designed websites

hi Vicki are you still looking for people that where affected by Genuine Data Services as I have been affected by a background check that has wrong dates and missing information and should have never shown up as both charges where expunged in the court system. It made me look real bad in front of a potential employer

He is finding people with and record, convicted or not to use his data like a credit report. He manipulates it randomly through the list, and when you or I need a check, we are shocked angry and maybe even guilty. Especially if we lose a job or not get a house/apt for the inaccuracy. So we think we can just dispute it as one would do for a credit bureau...Well guess what GDS - C Anderson is also a rep for The The Expungement Clearinghouse. Look it up, the present themselves a non-profit that focuses on helping people that need to expunge crimes that should had court orders to drop them. Oh but not really, they are owned by a law firm called - get this, no laughing- The Expungement Clearinghouse has partnered with The Foundation for Continuing Justice

Give me a break...They are full-fledged crooks...how this happens is beyond me. Anyway, all I know is that II will be calling, Vicky. Go get that dirtbag, Ms. Piontek! I just wish it was a criminal suit.
