Gennarino.ca Photography & Films

My fiancé and I hired Gennarino photography and films for our engagement and wedding photos August 2018. I wanted a fall engagement shoot and made that clear prior to booking. I called September to book for Monday October 22nd 2018. They never returned my calls and emails for over a week. I finally got a hold of them and I was met with hostility for questioning why I have not been contacted.

I was than told they do not shoot engagement photos on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays. Mondays and Sundays are our only days off. I was told to take a day off work. At this point I was very upset and was not able to be accommodated I asked for my $600 deposit back since no services have been rendered. The owner refused to give our deposit back and was very *** raising her voice at us. Finally they booked us on Sunday October 28th 2018.

The morning of they canceled on us. At this point it was November and I was never going to get the fall shoot I always dreamed of. I than again asked them for my deposit back and was refused this was extremely unfair. They did not make aware of there engagement photos hours prior to booking. As a young newly engaged couple we felt taken advantage of and what should have been a happy and exciting time turned into a nightmare. We never received our deposit back and they cut off all contact with us.
