Hired to do some work in kitchen, removing soffets, closing a doorway and installing tile. The work was supposed to start on Monday and did not. They said they would arrive early Tuesday, and showed up in the afternoon. Worked for about 4 hours and left. Did not show up on Wednesday or Thursday. Did not show until 2:30 pm and worked for 3 hours on Friday. Put in about 5 hours worth of work on Saturday. Upon inspection of the work, cement board for the flooring was not properly installed. Joints not staggered, no thinset between cement board and subfloor, and no taping or mortar of the joints. At this point I fired the contractor and told them not to come back. Gave chance after chance to get the work done and they could never put in a full days work. Recommended to use someone else.
