Review: I went to the shop asking for estimate to fix my power steering the mechanic said it will coast $250 to replace the power steering pump with a used pump. I told him I will bring the car tomorrow and if it will cost more than that call me before you do any thing. he called me and told me the high pressure hose to to be changed to and it costs $400 so the total is above $600. I told him do not do anything in the car and I will pick it.

when I went to pick up the car he told me he wants $50 for the estimate.

he said estimate was free when I show him the car first day.

he asked me if I have the money on me I replied no I don't he locked the door on the car and left the shop. holding my keys including my apartment keys and my car inside his shope. telling me to come pack when I have the money.

I went back the next day with the money to get my car as I cannot move with out it also to get my apartment keys.

now where in the shop says that he charges for the estimate. he verbally said there is no charge for the estimate.

the high pressure hose that he told me the part will cost over $200 other than the labor I found the part sold only for $80 and the new pump is $85 not used pump for over $100 plus laborDesired Settlement: Refund and compensation for the harm due to holding the car and the bad treatment.
