Mr*** did sign a renewal of his lease for the period beginning in December and ending in June We did receive his notice dated February 25th of his intent to vacate early with days notice due to health issues which is allowed under our lease. Our lease is very clear
that the day notice is available as long as they produce documentation that a medical condition exists that supports the need to vacate before the end of their lease termMr *** is aware of this requirement and had acknowledged that he would attempt to get this for usAs of today we still have not received any documentation from his medical providers to support his position that he needed to vacate earlyWe do not dispute his claim that he has had medical issues and that he may needed to vacate earlyWe feel our charges are consistent with the terms of our lease and are owed given the lack of documentationHowever in the spirit of compassion for his situation and to resolve this matter we have offered to remove the charges for insufficient notice and the termination fee that was charged. There still amounts owed for unpaid AUM charges and for damage to the carpet and flooring that appear to have been caused by his petWe have issues a revised final account statement that includes only these charges along with the credit for the deposits that we heldThis leaves a balance of $that is owed and we do expect full payment of that amount
