Irrelevant questions on GED MATH test
I am a GED instructor at a prison in Michigan. We work very hard to prepare our students using the Kaplan, Steck-Vaughn and other supplemental materials. Last Friday, 7 of my students took math test and all had reported the same question that presented huge challenges. The problem asked them to find the volume of a trapezoidal pyramid, which isn't even a shape on the formula page. This is an impossible question for them to get correct because they didn't have the formula provided for them. If there are changes being made to content on these tests, we as teachers need to know!

Scam
Such a scam. I am 26 years old, I saw the questions on the test, and never in my life have I had to apply any of that to a real life situation. You can't do ANYTHING without your GED, as if not having it automatically puts a magical force field on you being able to learn stuff. Nobody needs a piece of paper to say they can learn. It's pointless. More money in the BOE pockets.

I was charged $240 for a test and only 4 of the 6 charges were dropped. When my bank disputes the 5th charge Ged locked my account and refuses to schedule my last test. I tried the new online option and purchased a GED ready test as required. Ged charged my account for the test, but when I tried to take the test they informed me my account was still locked even though they still charged my account .
