Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I was never offered any resolutions for the wiring UNTIL I SPENT $1,for a lawyer to terminate the lease because they wouldn’t include the hitch wiring without charging me an additional $to $1, The tax issue only came up after the owner got involved as the GM refused to address the wiring issue which led me to hire a lawyer I am out $1,in legal fees because the dealership Mgmt was dishonest They never offered to let me exit the lease deal It took a lawyer to get the Executive team to be reasonable, and that is a $1,hit to me because the mgmt team refused to honor a deal and then tried to change the deal after all paperwork was signed The wary consumer needs to understand that these sorts of deceptive practices are happening at Gephardt VW Thank goodness the owner was reasonable and apologized profusely for what happened, but i’m Still out $1,plus probably a few additional expenses for fedex of documents, etc Sincerely, [redacted]
In reference to *** *** we offered to install the wiring to the hitch for him at no charge.the problem we had with *** *** is that he leased the car thru vci and the taxes are to be payed by the dealer because it needs to be included in the contracthe wanted to pay and register
it himself and that is violation with vci policy.he would not agree to the terms so without hesitation we unwound the car deal gave him a full refund and now I have an atlas with a hitch and wiring
