They are great at extortion of their customers!

If I could give them zero stars I would - As far as delivery they seem ok. My post is about their service. We pay for an annual contract but they either cancel or show up without notice for the service. The showing up part might be ok but my husband likes to be here because most of the techs don't have a clue. Most of the time my husband is telling them what to do. They have little to zero knowledge of how to service or diagnose our system. We lost our hot water the night before the tornado Aug 4th. its now been 6 weeks and we do not have hot water or a heating system. The manager "TIM" is a real jerk and won't call us back or provide service - told us its going to be over $3000 dollars but wont itemize the parts - basically just pulled the number out of the air. And now is telling us if they send someone in the afternoon which works best for us because my husband owns a small business he will charge us overtime. I would definitely NOT recommend Gault - we have been with them over 6 years and have not been pleased with their service - They did not service our system last year even though we paid for it - through our annual contract -and one of the techs mentioned to us it looks like this system was not serviced properly - and they are the only company we have used (it was a new system 6 years ago). If you can avoid using them - I would - If you are LUCKY you may get someone who knows what they are doing but we have only had that happen once or twice...Its like they want us to leave and they do not want to service our system. Also when he said he is going to charge us OT for an afternoon call would that be legal unless he does that to everyone? The service manager needs to be replaced he is the most unfriendly customer service oriented person - flat out rude. Run if you can!
