I have leased a brand new Acura ILX (VIN No. ***) on Oct. 6, 2018. After driving it for couple of weeks, I have noticed that the fuel gauge as well as the digital remaining mileage reader are not giving accurate information rather it either shows full or it starts to fluctuate. I took the car for service at the dealer on Oct. 25th. I was told that they have to order the part and get back to me. Acura Gatineau ignored me completely and I didn't feel safe driving the car in such condition that it could run out of gas on the road.
I called them and they didn't have an answer when the part will arrive and after negotiating, they gave me a rental car from *** and took may brand new Acura on Nov. 28.
Until today they are not giving me a date when the car will be repaired, they are not responding to my emails. This problem has been extremely upsetting for me and at this point, it is obvious that this new car has a serious issue and from a safety perspective I no longer feel safe driving the vehicle I have leased.
Please note that I am still respecting the lease and still making the lease payment although I don't drive the car.

As of today, we have completed the repairs as per Acura Canada. We are testing the vehicle to ensure the repairs are 100% complete. If all is 100% the customer will pick up there 2018 Acura today or tomorrow. The customer has been updated from our service department throughout the process as we have been working very closely with Acura Canada to repair the issue as quickly as possible. We appreciate the customers patience while working to fix the issue and we apologize for any conveniences this may have caused. We are 100% confident in the Acura product and we know they have an very good vehicle for years to come.
