On 11/15/I received a prescription from my doctor for a compression sleeve that is medically necessary due to: chronic RUE swelling s/p mastectomy and DVT Acute thrombosis of subclavian vein Immediately upon handing them my prescription, I was told this is not covered by insurance They did not even ask what type of insurance I had I told them that I was covered being a breast cancer patient They said that unless I had an open wound it was not covered Two more people came in after, for what prescriptions I do not know, and the same thing was told to them I had to pay out of pocket Upon coming home, I called my insurance company and was told that it was indeed covered I was also told that I could not purchase these items online because I needed measurements She, Lisa, measured me and did not supply me with the measurements
