I employed *** garrett who is the owner of garrett home solutions.I paid him for work an has refused to finish his work.left my back yard a mess

Sloppy, wouldn't show up, took money but did not give me my building material. Save yourself a huge headache and go with someone else.

Don’t even bother calling this company. Zero stars. Scam - does not complete work does not show up when agreed.
Cannot say whether the work is shoddy or not. Never got past the no show no call.
Thank you for not showing up. I’d rather find someone who will show up than to have a slimy contractor that does show up.

I cannot give *** one star. He failed to follow through on any promises. He was hired to replace the floors in my sister's house. He told us the job would take two weeks. There was more damage than initially thought, but he was given additional money and time to complete the repairs. Days went by without anyone showing up, and promises were made and never kept. Workers would show up and leave shortly after. *** asked for additional money for supplies. We refused to give him more money, but agreed to buy the supplies. After purchasing all supplies to complete the job, the workers quit because they said they weren't being paid. After over three months of begging him to work, we fired him. This fellow seems to have serious problems. He blamed it on his workers, but the contract was signed by him. Please save yourself the expense and stress of trying to deal with him. Much of the work that was done must be ripped out and started over.

Garrett Home Solutions, *** Garrett was hired by me for bathroom remodel on Aug 1, 2018, at which time I, *** gave 1/2 of total to do remodel. It was explained to me that the remodel would take no longer than 2 weeks. Work on the bathroom did not start until Aug 6,2018 and was still assured by *** Garrett that it would be finished in a timely manner. There was no work done on the bathroom again until Aug 20,2018 durning that 2 week time I was given many excuses (i have text to confir with this). Only one other day that week did they work on the bathroom. *** advised me that the hold up was due to the shower base not coming in on time. The base did arrive (to ***) on Aug 28, and I was told it was the wrong one and needed to be sent back, and a new one ordered. No work on bathroom until Sept 17,2018 at which time they installed the base which had came in on Sept 11, but again given excuses. Only 1/2 days worked Sept 18 and Sept 21 of that week. Crew showed up Sept 24 not a full days work. 1/2 days work on Sept 27 and on Sept 28 the shelves to the shower were cased in. On Monday Oct 1 I received a text from *** explaining the crew would not be back and he fully did not know when they would, that he was trying to get a crew together but did not know when that would happen. At this point after 2 months of delays and excues of trust and patience on my part of asking *** for invoices, receipts amount of work hours and with very little response I decided I needed to part ways with Garrett Home Solutions. Asking for refunds and information has been to no avail with ***. I have text where he sent me some receipts but as I told him I was not paying for his tools he used and the info he sent on the shower base was not an acual receipt only something he printed off the internet. Also one of the receipts was where he got a refund for material used for my bathroom. He made several promises on a refund but is not one I can agree on because of not having all of the right information. He damaged my hall wall and said it would be fixed for no charge and now I have to go out of pocket to fix his mistake. I have over 2 months of text from *** and would be glad to submit them if that would be of help with this matter.
