Galaxy Rent-a-Car Inc

We were "off-sold" to Galaxy Rent-A-Car via [redacted] Rent-A-Car on Thursday, February 9th when [redacted] Rent-A-Car could not fulfill our request for a vehicle due to over-booking. After we finished the paperwork with Galaxy we were lead to the back parking lot to receive our Mini-Van. After the associate failed to start 3 of the 4 mini-vans on his lot he finally got the 4th one to start and we were on our way. By the time we left Galaxy it was approx. 1:30 am. The lot was very dim lit and we were eager to leave due to our 2 year old starting to become very fussy. We awoke at 8 am the next morning, excited to take our daughter to disneyland, we go down to the van and it wont start, after several attempts we get it started. Not wanting to be stranded at Disneyland, we call Galaxy to attempt to take it back and rent from someone who has a fleet of more reliable cars. After explaining our situation to the associate on duty at Galaxy he was completely unreceptive and down-right rude. He proceeded to tell us that we signed the rental agreement when we were there and it wasnt our problem we felt uncomfortable driving the car. We asked if we could bring it back early and rent from someone else and he replied by saying that if we brought it back early we would be charged for the full 4 days. Realizing we were running out of options we decided just to stick with the van and make the best of our trip. When I rent a car from a supposed reputable company at a premium rate of $69.99 per day (not including taxes & fees) I expect a car equal or greater than what I drive at home. This minivan was a dump to say the least. It had 100,000 miles on it. Dirt was caked around the trim on the inside, the headlights were fogged over, there was a crack in the windshield, and the windshield wipers were rusted over.
