On 7/16/18 Galati Landscaping performed landscaping at my home. Included in their scope of work was the planting of 26 shrubs. They guaranteed both verbally and in writing that they guaranteed their plants for one growing season. They defined one growing season as from summer 2018 (when they were planted) until fall 2018. However several of the plants did not make it that long. All five (5) dianthus either completely died or turned brown and never grew. As of today 3 have completely disappeared and 2 basically look like a small patch of weeds. The one (1) blue star juniper immediately started turning brown over more then half the plant. As of today the plant is half dead and and half it's growth has died and fallen off. Two (2) of the four (4) gold mops immediately started turning brown and loosing limbs. As of today are wilted and and missing growth.
I can provide pictures of all the plants in questions. I have called Galati and left messages several times without any response. I have also texted them many times with this information including pictures again without any response. I have also sent 15 emails to Galati with my complaint and pictures without any response. The only responce to my numerous calls, texts and emails is one email reply almost 2 weeks ago that they will stop and take a look as soon as they can.
So to summarize, I believe that 8 of the 26 plants have died completely or are dying and must be replaced in accordance with their guarantee. Again let me know if you want me to send you pictures of the 8 plants in question.
Re: *** ID #***We have agreed to replace the plants in question and touch up the mulch around them. Most are actually going thru transplant shock. That is extremely common especially for the time of year we planted. I wanted to wait a little longer, but because of constant emails, phone calls, and text daily we had to plant these plants on one of the hottest days of the summer. I tried multiple times to explain the proper care and transplant shock, but he refused to listen to anything I said. I have responded back to the customer on several occasions. The 15 emails he said were sent, were actually sent within 24 hours. That does not include the basically daily emails I had received from the day we planted the plants. I have received zero texts from him since the plants were planted also.
Thank You
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID and I don't agree with several of their comments. However, If they mean replace the plants that I have listed in the complaint, then I will accept their offer.
Front yard:
Replace 1 blue star juniper with a healthy blue star juniper.
Rear yard:
Replace 2 gold mops (rear) with 2 healthy gold mops.
Replace all 5 dianthus with 5 mutually agreeable healthy plants. Actually there is nothing to replace since the dianthus never grew. So plant 5 new plants where the dianthus were originally planted.
Fixed up both the front and rear mulch beds and replace the disturbed mulch.
If this is the resolution then it is satisfactory to me.
