Review: I cracked my new iphone 6 screen several months ago. I had Gadget Wireless replace the part. After it was initially replaced, the touchscreen was faulty. It would not read my touch very well, and it would randomly text by itself. I called the company and they agreed to replace the screen again for free as it was obviously a manufacturer default. The day I went to get it replaced, I dropped the phone and shattered the screen again. I wasn't worried because the screen was already faulty and I was getting it replaced. The company, however, told me that they would now have to charge me because I had broken the already broken screen, and that their distributor would now charge them full price for the part. I asked them specifically to call Apple so that I could speak to them about the situation and get the part replaced for free. Gadget Wireless told me that Apple didn't work that way and that I couldn't just call for help. I had them replace the screen because I needed the phone immediately, I paid them, and told them I was going to call Apple to get the refund for the amount of the part which was $120.00 according to the company. When I got in touch with Apple, I found out that this company is not an authorized dealer. Apple customer service completely agreed with me and actually talked to Gadget Wireless too, trying to get me a refund. I never got the refund, and Apple even gave me a free product for the trouble even though they did nothing wrong. The bottom line is that, while the company didn't outright lie and TELL me it was an Apple product, they did mislead me by saying that Apple would charge them for the broken part. I called them repeatedly and got nowhere with a refund. I see no reason why I should have been charged for replacing a broken part that was already broken.Desired Settlement: I would like $120.00 for the price of the screen that Gadget Wireless charged me. I am not asking for labor, as they did provide the labor. But I am extremely upset that I was so mislead, and I want them to be clear to customers in the future.
