Did not show up for an appointment and instead quoted a $200 emergency service fee for next day appointment. The original call-in cost was $69.
G-Force Plumbing was supposed to come to my house for a water heater repair. They gave me a two hour window for the appointment. The technician called 1 hour 30 minutes into the appointment window. I missed that call. There was no voice mail or text from him.
When I called back 15 minutes later, he rudely said that since I did not pick up the phone, he decided not to come for the appointment!
At this moment, we are 2 days without hot water because of a company who failed to meet basic customer service.
The office now wants to charge a fee for $200 for an emergency appointment now.
They should have basic customer service to re-schedule appointment at the next earliest availability and not try to extort more money from a customer in need. Wow!
They should re-schedule it at the next earliest availability and not ask for extra "emergency" fee
We would never charge the customer $200 if we had to re-schedule the appointment, looking back on the call and listening to the recordings, we tried to reach the customer (4) times during their appointment window and they did not answer either phone number on record and the mailboxes were full. It is company policy to have the home owner on the phone, confirming their appointment before the technician dispatches to the call. With that being said, we deeply apologize that you felt our technician was rude to you, and we will have a team meeting discussing the expected behaviors.
Reliable, professional, knowledgeable company that always provides a great and fairly priced service. I've used this company for years and have learned to trust and depend on them for all of my plumbing needs. G force has replaced two water heaters, toilets, faucets, water pressure regulator, and other services. Always a great job.
I can't stress enough how much I would NOT recommend doing business with this company. After 7 visits they still could not manage to get a hot recirculation pump working.
I'm still disputing the $750 charge with them on my credit card. It's incredible that they still expect to be paid even though they didn't fix the problem AND I returned their pump to them.
---------- Timeline ----------
On December 8th 2018, I hired G-Force Plumbing to replace a broken hot water recirculation pump. My original pump was from *** Thermotech model number ***. G-force insisted on replacing it with a pump from *** since it's supposedly a "higher quality unit." The install was completed but after they left, I realized that the pump was not working properly. I called G-force to make them aware of the issue.
The sent the same technician out 2 days later on 12/10/2018 to diagnose the problem. He brought one of their master plumbers with him. They removed the unit and reinstalled it. They said that the issue is due to a problem with the water in our area. The pump seemed to work while they were present but once I tried the hot water a few hours later after they left, nothing. Same issue. I called G-force to let them know it's still not fixed.
On 12/17/2018 G-Force sent Tim E to try to figure out what was wrong. He came out, removed and reinstalled the pump and said that he thinks it's an issue with our water. We had hot water when the technician was present but once they left, the pump stopped functioning properly. Same problem. I again called G-force to let them know the problem is still not fixed.
On 12/18/2018, Jamey E from G-force came out to try to figure out what was wrong. Upon examining the installation, he realized that *THE PUMP WAS INSTALLED BACKWARDS BY THE ORIGINAL TECHNICIANand is the reason why it wasn't working. At this point their supplied pump had been running in the incorrect orientation for 10 days. He said that he will have the original technician come out repair the pump.
On 12/19/2018, the original technician (Jesse G) came to the house to fix the installation. Even after reversing it, the pump was making a weird noise so I asked him to replace it with a new pump. It had been running in the wrong orientation for over 10 days at this point so I was concerned that it'd been damaged. I told him I also preferred for them to just use the same model pump that was previously in use since I knew that one worked well. They refused to do this but did replace the originally installed *** with a different *** pump. After he left, I realized that the problem was still there.
On 12/20/2018 Jamey E came out again with another technician and they said they feel the problem is that we have bad water due to the construction in the area. None of our neighbors are reporting issues with their hot water. Additionally, there hasn't been any construction or pipe work in our subdivision in over one year! While here, they flushed the water line and again, removed and reinstalled the pump. I, again, requested that the original model pump be installed because it worked for several years without issue. This request was refused.
The reason why there was hot water when the technician was present is because all the cold water had been flushed from the lines. After several hours passed and the water cooled off is when the issue would manifest itself. It highlights that the supplied pump wasn't working properly.
On 12/21/2018, we left Georgia for vacation and didn't return until the 12/29/2018. Upon return the problem was still there. The pump wasn't working. No hot water without running the shower for several minutes.
*G Force came out a total of 7 times and the problem still wasn't resolved.*
At this point, I found the original pump on *** and scheduled to have a different plumber come out to install it. The pump was installed correctly, and hot water has been working fine ever since. Still in an on-going fight with them to have the $750 charge to my credit card reversed.
I would highly recommend G Force plumbing for all your plumbing needs. They have helped me with everything from frozen pipes to a new sewer line from our home to the street. G Force is prompt, courteous and fair giving me options and communicating with me every step of the way. The latest and largest job they did for me was the sewer line. It was a something we knew would have to be done at some point but when the time came they took great care in getting the job done with minimal impact. They went above and beyond in taking care of our yard and home. From big jobs, to emergency jobs, to routine work and maintenance G Force Plumbing can handle it all.
We had a wonderful experience with G Force plumbing, and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing service. The knowledge and attention given to our job went well above our expectations. We had to have an entire house re-piped, and several fixtures replaced, along with a new waterline to the house from the street. We had gotten a few other quotes for the job that estimated a week to complete, and were far more expensive. G force had the job done in just a couple of days at a far more manageable cost. The people that did the job were professional, experienced, and did quality work.
I called them regarding a plumbing leak. I was told it was in my yard and I needed it re plumbed which they did. What they did not do was fix the leak. The leak was in the house. When I called them that the leak was not fixed, they came out and told me that this was a new leak. They insisted that I get the same work done again that they had just done. Had they re plumbed the pipes in the house at the time they did the outside replacement this would not have happened. I paid enough that this should have been done to start with. I am referring to the little bit of pipe from the outside into the main water supply in the house. The new plumber I hired said this part of the plumbing should have been done when they put in a new supply line from the meter to the house.
Billing Adjustment I am requesting that the $1,600.00 I paid should have been included in the original $2,600.00 that I paid for the new supply line. I am requesting a refund of $1,600.00.
To everyone involved, and to all of our potential clients, I solemnly apologize to such a tardy response to this unfortunate claim.
In all my history , I have never felt so shocked, and hurt by a customer we have worked so hard to build a trusting relationship with. As anyone can clearly see , we have only a handful of bad reviews anywhere throughout the web. This is not because we are above making mistakes, but this is because when we do a make a mistake we claim it, and we fix it before it can become a bad review. We repair our relationships right away. We lean strong to our three pillars of foundation... HONESTY, QUALITY, and CARE. Its through these core values that we have earned the trust of thousands of people, and have built the reputation of trustworthy company, and THE company to call for a great experience.
Nobody knows better then myself the horror of an emergency issue, and the agony of an unexpected expense. Its been my daily experience for some time , giving a solution , and often being that beacon of hope. I realized a long time ago that my job is not just about " making repairs". My job is about caring for customers, and treating people the way I would want my own mother to be treated. The service I am meant to offer is one of kindness and empathy.
G FORCE PLUMING is just that! from the dirt floor we started to the army we have grown, we have not lost sight of the key. We still only focus on that which is most important of everything.... what it is we have to offer to our customers. We call this "the G force experience".
Im so hurt when someone sees this as anything other then true customer service. I dont know how to even begin to defend myself. When we are truly giving ourselves away for the better of others, what can I say? We have no reason to ever lie. We dont work commission, because I feel that breeds dishonesty, and we know that our future is only as promising as the faith that people have in us. we have nothing to gain at all from deceit.
G Force Plumbing will always stand behind their work 100%. We will always treat our customers with the utmost respect, and we will always earn the trust of all of those that have found us and love us.
We did do what needed to be done on this job( with all the appropriate authorizations) I have no doubt in my heart that we have been completely honest and open through the entire process. It has been fully explained, that after replacing the line, to repair the obvious leak in the yard, that the increase of full street pressure then exposed an already existing leak inside of the house, or caused a leak to this fragile pipe.the water in the yard was clearly repaired. the leak under the slab is in no way connected to the original issue, except the fact that the pipe is old. Even after that leak is repaired another could very well show itself. Experience tells us, that this is normal occurrence. I've worked on houses that multiple leaks are to be repaired, but do not all show at once , because of pressure deferential. had we known of an additional leak inside, as well as the leak outside we were asked to repair, we would have treated them as the two separate jobs as they are.
I know its terrible to spend more money, after another expense, but G force can not manage client finance. we do however offer financing options to those that can not afford the things they need done. Im so sorry for those that cant afford home maintenance , but we will do what we can to help.
All of the job details were explained, and they were understood. Customer satisfaction was achieved, but remorse for payment was evident. We tried to offer options, and we exhausted ourselves in trying to console. It hurts that all of our attempts to help are thrown to waste, and that our good name is being dragged through the mud of slander. We will not allow someone to bully us by using such a wonderful entity as the Revdex.com. And even if this case goes unresolved, I will stand behind my company and what we are. I will not cower to false insult just to not have a bad review, and I we not pay off ANYONE to remove a bad review. We did nothing but good things, and I will not say otherwise.
Im proud of us as a team. I am sadden by this outrageous attempt of extortion.
Thank you,

I truly believe this was a total rip off!! I paid $2,600.00 and they did not fix the leak. I was not going to pay them another $2,800.00 to re do what they did. I will never use them again.
