Sent: Wednesday, October 18, 11:AM Subject: complaint *** On the date in question (Sept 29th 2017), the customer refused to pay for a battery for his car & then verbally abused me in person when I picked him up to offer him a ride to purchase a battery. No shop, no
dealership, not anyone is going to pay for a dead battery. We understand that during hurricane Harvey this gentleman lost his job & is out of work. The customer involved in this case is a very angry & frustrated person due to loss of his job. We cannot help that, we diagnosed his car free of charge during the last visit, but he refused to pay for a battery. We do not offer any warranties and the customer did sign the necessary paperwork stating this. It is an older car, that he purchased used that is highly modified with racecar parts (we did not do any of the modifications). I will attach his invoice to this email. I will also attach the photo of his post on google where he is cussing at meHe also has repeatedly called the shop and verbally abused me over the phone on more than one occasion. The patient also stated he did not authorize any of the work we did on his car, but he was the one that requested specifically we do a compression test on his car. The problem on 8/21/was that he had personally worked on his own car and did not properly install the spark plugs or wires. There will be no refund as the customer has the parts that we installed correctly on his car. I feel there is no way to make this customer happy. Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  
First off I have no idea who this Dr. [redacted] guy is.  I never dealt with or spoke to a Dr. [redacted] so I have no idea who he is. 
On 10/4/17 I had my battery tested at [redacted] and they told me that my battery is fine.  So these guys were going to sell my a battery that I didn't need and charge me god know how much money for it.  That is exactly what they did with the spark plugs and the wires, charge me for something that I didn't need and didn't fix my car.  Also I never signed anything that said no warranty.   I assumed their tune job would come with at least a 6 month warranty. 
I didn't not lose my job during the hurricane, just another lie by these people.  Also I was never verbally abusive to anyone there, maybe I raised my voice a little, but I was not abusive. [redacted]
