concerned that its customers should be fairly treated, and we go out of our way to make things right when customers come in with complaints. However, this customer has tried to take advantage of those policies. The short response is that the customer and G & D already settled this dispute in April 2015 when the parties entered a signed written settlement agreement to resolve the dispute.  Despite the lack of merit in the consumer’s claims, G & D paid the customer money as a settlement of his claims to avoid ever having to deal with him again. A copy of the signed April 30, 2015 Settlement Agreement is attached, as well as a copy of the settlement check, which the customer cashed in April 2015. We also arbitrated the customer’s claims with the Dispute Resolution Department at [redacted] when he filed claims, and the matter was resolved in G & D’s favor.  Mr. [redacted] also filed a claim/complaint with the California Bureau of Automotive Repair, and the BAR investigated and found that there was no fault on the part of G & D.We have photos of the work done that proves Mr. [redacted]’s claims are false, but we would prefer not to waste time reviewing these matters which were arbitrated to resolution in G & D’s favor, and also were settled and released by [redacted] in a written settlement agreement.You may ask, why is he coming to you now eight months later?The customer has come back and demanded additional money from G & D and has threatened to make claims against us on social media unless we pay him additional money. He left bad reviews on [redacted] and said he would remove them if we paid him additional money. We see the complaint to you as him making good on this threat to defame G & D.G & D therefore requests that you do not assist [redacted] in his defamation of our business.  We request that you do not post his claim, and do not post  G & D’s response.Please contact me if you have any questions or need additional information.  And please confirm that you received this email.[redacted]
