Thank you for reaching out to let us know you are having an issue with your sectional that you have had now for a year. We apologize that you felt the tone of the Store Managers Email was in any way giving you attitude or conveyed a sense of not caring. We defiantly appreciate your patronage of the past many years.
We have sent a tech out to your home and the report and photos were reviewed by the service manager as well as the owner and me the district manager. We can not find any defect with the set via the report or the pictures. The issues you are experiencing are normal wear and tear of a sectional of this age. The fabric pilling is not a defect but a characteristic of the fabric. I have a video I can share with you from the factory better explaining pilling. As far as the wrinkling of the fabric on the seats and back cushions this is to be expected over time. Fabric stretches a bit every time you sit on it so this will happen and there is nothing to stop it. Looking at the back cushion next to the cuddlier again this is normal wear. There is a zipper under the cushions on the back where you can always go in and fluff the Dacron that is in there. You can always add more as the years pass to keep it up to your standards. The only complaint we have left to review is the bumps along the back were the fabric Decron and padding are stapled to the back of the frame. We have sent photos and the report to the quality control department of England the manufacture of this sectional. As soon as we get a response on this we will let you know the findings.
In the meantime we will have our service manager reach out to you in a few days to set you up for a service appointment to have our tech stuff the back cushions to your liking and we will shave the piling this one time. Again, none of these issues are defects and are considered normal wear and tear.
