BIG THUMBS UP! I heartily recommend this store in Boulder as a great place to buy a massage chair. I visited 3 times before making my decision and everyone I spoke with was patient. I never felt pushed, and I was left alone a lot so that I could really feel what each chair I tested was doing without being interrupted all the time. I ended up buying their Positive Posture Brio Sport massage chair. Delivery took a week, and the local guys from Boulder are awesome! My wife and I are in heaven with our new chair. Do yourself 2 favors: buy a massage chair and buy it from these people. Very straight shooters compared to some other conversations I had with other companies.
We work hard to earn the trust of all our customers. Thank you so much for taking the time to share this publicly. We really appreciate your kind words!
Took me about 3 weeks of research to determine that this was the place to buy from. The whole process...then my actual purchase...then the follow up by my "comfort consultant" was tops!
Thanks for the great feedback. We really appreciate it!
They are the worst company to deal with. Very unethical.
They replaced the parts on multiple different occasions but still claim there's nothing wrong with the chair and refuse to replace the defective chair.
I purchased the $8,000 massage chair in April 2013.
After about a year, the leather in the chair started peeling. I contacted Relax the Back and through them the manufacturer. According to them, this is an isolated incident, they'd never heard of this before (I know this is not true because I see other reviews on-line saying long term users have the same issue).
They sent me a replacement part. About a year later the same thing happened again, this time they sent a technician to replace the part. Again, about a year later, just before the warranty expired it happened again!!! At this point, they decided to replace the chair. They sent a new chair and guess what ... After about a year it happened again!!!
The chair is in use only for private home use!!
Attached please see pictures of the current state of the chair.
I filed a complaint again with Relax the Back, they contacted the factory. The person in charge of the chairs contacted me and quoted me about $400 to fix it.
As I know that the fix will be VERY temporary, I see no point in throwing more money at this problem.
I'm hoping that you can find a long term solution to my $8,000 yearly problem.
Thank you,
Dr G
