Review: On Sunday Nov. ** 2013 I purchased 2 round trip tickets($80) to Atlantic City from Whitestone Queens. Upon arrival at the [redacted] hotel, the bus operator of the bus owned by Funaway tours informed us that the bus would be departing from the adjacent bay #* at 6:30 pm.I returned at 6:25(per my cell phone) to find that the bus had departed leaving my wife and I stranded. I had to purchase 2 return tickets($80) with Academy bus company to NYC Port Authority bus terminal. We had to make our way to Flushing Queens, carrying several packages while navigating service disruptions.We then spent an additional $15 on a cab to get us home.The next day I called a phone # provided to me by the establishment that sold me the original tickets as no one answered the phone number listed on the ticket. A man identifying himself as "[redacted]" answered and contacted the driver by way of conference call. The driver(I think [redacted]) stated that he was redirected to park at bay#** and departed when he saw no familiar passengers nor did anyone answer up. It was the position of both "[redacted]" and "[redacted]" that I was in the wrong for not having arrived at 6:15 (or 15 minutes prior to the time that I was instructed to arrive).No appologies, no reimbursment for the added expenses; in fact, no concern as to whether we had the financial means to make our way back. I worry more for the elderly folks that frequent Funaways services and place all of their trust in them.Desired Settlement: I would like reimbursment for the return service that paid for and did not receive alonn with the added costs of having to repurchase tickets.
