We are quite sorry the tenant has experienced such problems. In hindsight, we regret taking on this property and leasing to these individuals. We leased this house for the first time totally unaware of any history with the property. The owner insisted on making the repairs to get
the house ready for leasing, and took us out of the loop. Prior to showing the property we noted to the owner multiple items multiple times that needed to be addressed. The owner and his vendors did not respond in a manner we are accustomed to. Now that the house is leased the owner has handed the property maintenance over to us to clean up. It is a complicated mess
Contributing to this aggravation is the tenants themselves. They improperly operated a washing machine which led to flooding in the basement. We cleaned up that mess (at our expense). But apparently their flood has caused mildew staining of the bathroom vinylThere are other documented instances of improper use of building components
Because of the complainant's continued swearing and aggressive communication style, we have instructed staff to only communicate with this particular tenant via email or text.
A month and a half ago we offered the tenants to terminate their lease early to basically get both parties out of a bad situation, including an offer to pay $of their moving expenses. To date they have not accepted our offer. We wish they would accept it to help them find a better place to live with a property manager they respect and get along with better
