I ordered two items, as a set, well before the holidays - a duffel bag and a matching toiletry bag. I was guaranteed Christmas delivery. The toiletry bag arrived long after the holidays but the duffel bag NEVER came. So the entire set was NEVER RECEIVED. I requested a full refund from the company. I even said I would gladly send back the toiletry bag, which has not been used and is very poorly made. It is nowhere near as pictured. The company said they would tell me how to return this item but never did. I never received a refund for the set. Many people are experiencing this same thing from this company. I should have done more research before buying from them. I have learned my lesson and never hope to experience this agin. Now, it's not just the money but the principle.

Good evening Ms.,We’re terribly sorry for the long wait for your order and not receiving the Travel Duffel Bag :(We know how important the customer experience is, and such long delivery times are less than ideal. However, we explicitly stated in our order confirmation that we do not guarantee delivery by Christmas due to the influx of orders received over the holiday season and longer than usual delays in processing and shipping orders.Additionally, seeing that you’ve already initiated a chargeback with your credit card company, we are unable to refund you since your bank has already pulled the funds from our account while they are reviewing the transaction.Once again, we deeply apologize for your dissatisfaction in delivery time and product received and will use your feedback to help improve in the future.Sincerely,MattFor The Minimalist Team

I am rejecting this response because:

I was assured by the company BEFORE I placed the order that delivery was guaranteed by Christmas. The company was well aware of my situation. When Christmas grew nearer, they changed their stance and said that there was a chance that the order was not going to arrive before Christmas. For this inconvenience, they would give me a 10% discount. I explained to them that their delay meant that I would have to ship this item to another state, once receive, because the recipient's visit would be over. I said that a 10% discount would not cover the additional shipping charges I would incur. The company did not respond to this and stopped responding altogether except to say that my tracking information changed. It is February 7th and I never received this item. I paid for items NOT received!!!

Upon further investigation, I learned that other customers experienced the same thing from this company. It doesn't help or change my situation, but it proves that this is a standard practice for this company. Once a customer places an order, and payment is received, the policies change, the product is not delivered, and no refund is issued by the company.

The company is responding now with some bogus response because I refuse to abandon this and have filed a complaint with the Revdex.com.

Ms.,Once again, we apologize that your duffel never arrived and a chargeback has been opened for this case that should result in a full credit back to your card.However as aforementioned, we notified all customers of the inability to guarantee a Christmas delivery on our product page along with our Order Confirmation Notification email that was sent to you on December 8, 2019 (see attached file of example email notification).Unfortunately, since a chargeback has been opened on your side, there is nothing more we can do in terms of compensation. I am rejecting this response because: I keep saying the same thing over and over again. The company changed their response once they had my money. These items were to be a set. What good is the twenty dollar toiletry bag if it was ordered as part of a set and the company lost the other item and. NEVER delivered it. They haven't kept their side of the contract, so I should not be liable for my end. I offered to return it andI they refused. Refund my FULL order.
