Review: I purchased a home in April 2015. We started seeing cracks in walls, and the doors were shifting. It took a couple months of contacting [redacted] to come back out to re inspect my home. He finally came out in October, but has failed to provide his findings. I have been trying to obtain a supplemental report via email, mail and phone for him to at least call me. He will not respond. He responded to my realtor and he informed my realtor he would call me that evening. He never did. I have explained my concerns, I want to be sure my home is safe and if we need to contact the prior owner before the year is up. But [redacted] will not return my call. I sent a letter via mail/email. The mail was returned as Vacant property.Desired Settlement: I would like him to provide me the report that we need. Assurance to know my home does not have any foundation issues. Why is he not responding? It makes me feel something is wrong. He is not standing behind the customer service he provides that is indicated on his website. He is not a licensed contractor so how can I get the information needed?

Response:
I went out and reinspected house and verbally told client what issues were in regards to their questions. They were not home when I did the reinspection. A Home Inspection is only to inspect, and refer contractors to specific issues that were seen during a "visual inspection" which is what I did for client. I recommended that they seek further evaluation of the issues I called out during inspection by licensed contractor. I am not allowed to do any work or assess costs of doing work on any house I inspect for up to one year, which I also let client know, so I am at a loss as to why they are complaining in regards to my inspection. The issues that were called out needed to be addressed by a licensed contractor, not me. According to [redacted] we only do a visual inspection and that is all. I did everything I was supposed to do and then some by coming out a second time to reinspect the issues they asked about. I believe the homeowner is also a contractor and knows exactly what the issues were that I addressed in my report. If you have any further questions please feel free to either call or email me and I will get back to you as soon as I can. Take care and have a great week,
