I recently had my furniture moved from [redacted] NC to [redacted] VA. After searching for a moving company I found one in Holly Ridge, NC. I read the reviews and contacted the owner. This is an independent moving company, not a branch or franchise of one of the nationwide moving companies. From the beginning I was impressed. The reviews spoke well of the company. When I talked to one of the staff and later the owner for an estimate I was more at ease. They agreed to load up and move my things the day after Thanksgiving. My granddaughter and I drove to NC on Thanksgiving and met with the crew. The two men were not only professional, but personable and accommodating in assisting getting things loaded. They then drove the distance to Virginia that same day.
They offered to unload that evening but it wasn't convenient for my daughter so came at 8am the next morning and unloaded and placed furniture as requested. I never thought a move could go so well. I highly recommend this company for making a move anywhere in the United State. The quality and pricing can't be beat. Let alone the nicest folks you will ever want to meet.

[redacted], the owner, was very flexible with me, as my moving and storage needs kept changing. Skip, the operations manager, came out the day I called to give me an accurate estimate of the expenses. The movers, [redacted] and [redacted] were prompt, respectful, hardworking, and careful with my items. I appreciate that this is a local business, and I was able to speak with the courteous owner directly. If anything, he is too modest because he did not ask for a review; I choose to support good work.
