Mr [redacted] was a tenant of ours who found a subleaser for his unit when he moved outHowever, our lease reads that a the lease holder (Mr [redacted] ), is still financially responsible for the apartmentWhen he moved out he left us no forwarding addressAny communication was notified by leaving messages on his door since he still had a valid leaseWe tell all of our tenants if they get a subleaser to make sure to have their own contract written between the two of them since [redacted] does not hold the subleaser reliable since they don’t have a written lease with [redacted] When [redacted] reached out to our office last week about this issue, I checked with our accounting team and our attorney to insure he did not pay off his balance, and he did not Our attorney sent a summons to his house and served the person living there about the evectionTo this day [redacted] still owes our company a total of $6, We told him he is more than welcome to start paying off his balance and we can remove the evection from his recordAttached you will find his ledger with the balance along with the paper served to his apartmentPlease let me know if you have any questions.Thank You
The tenant actually signed a lease and deposit agreement with us. The deposit agreement a Non-Refundable agreement if the tenant chooses not to move in. Attached please find that agreement. Please let me know if you have any questions at all. Thank You
