Review: I went to frizzles salon for a keratin complex treatment to mend the ends of my hair. This is in fact the purpose of completing a keratin treatment: to improve the health of your hair, straighten it and strengthen it. After waiting the 3 mandated days to wash my hair for the product to soak it I was shocked to see the results. My hair is now much worse. Prior to the treatment my ends were bad (hence the reason for the treatment) now, due to the treatment about 8 inches of hair is fried. I went to the salon on Thursday to show the owner my hair. He saw the damage but refused to produce a refund. The only offer he made was a bottle of shampoo. He could not explain the damage but refused to take accountability or make amends in anyway. Upon research I see there is a trend of keratin frying hair. I trusted this salon to be professional, if they thought the treatment would have made my hair worse, then they should not have performed it. But since they did perform the service with horrendous outcome they should take responsibility.Desired Settlement: The treatment cost $375 and I left a $60 tip. At minimum I would like this money back. I paid them for a strengthening treatment but in Reality the treatment destroyed my hair. It's only fair that I get that money back.Due to the damage done to my hair I will now have to cut my long hair to chin length. I will be forced to get extensions to maintain my natural look. Hair extension at minimum are $700.

Response:
To Whom It May Concern:I am writing in response to a client who
complained that her hair was damaged after getting a Keratin treatment at our
hair salon. I wanted to set the facts straight as her story is quite inaccurate
and she has chosen to omit several details that change the nature of this
accusation. The customer actually went to another salon for chemical treatments
several days prior to coming to our salon. When she came in for her
consultation, our stylist communicated to her that her hair was definitely damaged
from whatever she had already done and the client completely agreed her. She
actually came to our salon to “fix” what the other salon had created. You can
see from her own [redacted].com review that the other salon very much damaged her
hair. Please see the review below describing the review of the other salon just
days before coming to our salon:“I admit my hair was not
in the best shape when I went in so we decided on a conditioning treatment
and then I would come back for hair color. When he did the color, the ombré
turned out very straight lined color, I thought it was supposed to blend more?
It's ok, but I will be going to some
other salon to fix it. I also opted for the
Brazilian blow out to settle down the frizz. Either they do it different or they do it wrong. I'm used to the-
treatment - flatirons don’t wash for 3 days. This place put very little product
on, the shampooed it, then blew dry and flat ironed. I don't think this took at
all.” [redacted] Salon & SpaOur stylist also told this client that PRIOR
to her getting her Keratin treatment, that she would need to cut several inches
off in order to fix the damage the other salon had caused. We contacted the
Keratin company as well and they are completely willing to testify that their
product would NEVER cause damage to the hair as hers was. She came in with
damaged hair to begin with. Please contact me with ANY questions.Sincerely,
