Aloha Friends at Hawaii Revdex.comWe are an agricultural consultancy firm that offers live hatrainings and technical support in the new field of commercial aquaponics.This customer registered on August 23rd for our California September 14th- 18th Commercial Aquaponics
Training (*** ***)Because this is an exclusive event just like a theater premier or a *** *** game, we do not allow cancellations within the 2-week period before the eventThe event was full with this registration at a cap of persons, and we turned away other inquiries for this training which could have resulted in revenue for usIf this customer is allowed a refund, we wiil have our event expenses for them but no income.We handled the training logistics impeccably, as shown by the fact that all other registrants arrived on the first day slightly after :am, the stated start time for the training, w ith no difficulties findingthe locationOne participant even came from South Korea! The customer making this complaint received all the same mailings the other participants did showing location, schedule, and all other event information on September 4th, when we finalized the course location.We did not receive any indication from the customer that anything was amiss until 10:am September 14th (three hours after the training began, which was on the morning of the first day of the course), when we got a confused email from her complaining about difficulties in getting a taxi to the eventWe do not, and never have offered to, organize or provide transportation to these events for our customers.bur refund policy is clearly published here on our website, and was published as a link just above the fourth photo on the "california-training" page noted previously that the customer registered on: (***) Please check these out! When customers do cancel, we do not refund, but rather offer them a credit towards future trainings (we hold to of these per year), or a distance-learning package of equal value.We feel we should not be penalized any further for this person's inability to get transportation to our training, for their delayed decision to cancel their purchase, nor for their apparent inability to find and/or read our published refund policyWe are treating this matter in accordance with our standard refund policy, link previously provided in this letter.We are happy to provide you with copies of the emails that we sent this customer and that we received in return, which will clearly establish that the customer had ample time to communicate with us before use began if anything was amiss
