Final bill was nearly triple what I agreed to when I signed my client service agreement.
When I signed my client fee agreement the wording for the fee portion read. "The costs in this case are estimated to be as much as $300.00. The client authorizes the firm to advance on the clients behalf, cost up to a maximum of $300.00 which limitation will not be exceeded without the Client's further authority. The client agrees to reimburse the firm for all such costs upon receipt of bill. The client understands that the Firm does not guarantee that the costs will not exceed the estimated costs amount".

I received my bill in the mail and it was for $813.00. I was never spoken to about additional costs above the $300, period. I called the office and spoke with them and they said the cost they were tailing about were only court costs. No where in my agreement was is that stated. I feel like they were dishonest in their financial dealings with me. I paid the bill in full, however, I feel like they should be held to their contract. I can send a copy of the financial agreement if needed.
