Fresh Healthy Vending

I regularly get food from the fresh vending machine in our office. The machines are extremely well received by our staff, and we are eternally grateful for less fatty options. Very good machine made by the company.

Review: I contacted the company via their web site to obtain basic information regarding franchising. I provided my name, email address and cell phone number. Within minutes I received an email (no problem, I expected that), within the hour I received a phone call on my cell (I was not expecting that), and within two hours my wife received a call at her work - a clear invasion of privacy. It was evident that they used some sort of application to dig into my personal life without authorization. To me this was unethical and uncalled for. I don't wish to do business with them.Desired Settlement: I called the person who contacted me and left a voice mail stating they should not call me, email me or in any way try to contact me again. If they do I will notify the Revdex.com again.

Here is our response to the customer complaint:

I am sorry that we are having to become defensive for quickly responding to a request for information. That is all we did; we contacted the individuals with the contact information they provided. That is how we operate, both before you become a customer and after. I am sorry that they made a complaint, but their only issue seems to be that we contacted them too quickly. I can assure you that we do not obtain contact information from anywhere other than what someone provides us with.

The issue wasn't how quickly they responded. The issue was that they performed research on my name and used information that I DID NOT provide them in an effort to contact me. Specifically, they contacted my wife at her workplace - I absolutely did not provide them with that number. So my problem is that they are digging into people's personal information without permission or reason to do so.
