Fresh Dental

On December 10, 2018, I went to my scheduled dentist appointment. I was charged $654.00 which didn't seem correct because I have 2 different insurance and I told the receptionist that the price didn't sound correct but she insisted that both of my insurance have been applied. I said okay and continued to pay the full amount. A week or two later I received a phone call from the same lady saying that I was overcharged during my last visit. She continued and said that my 2nd insurance wasn't applied to that visit and asked me if I would like to have the balance put towards my account or receive a refund. I told her I would like to cancel my next scheduled appointment and I wanted the refund. I've recently been having a toothache and decided to call the dentist office on February 25 around 10 am. The same reception from the incident answered the phone and I questioned her about my account. She said that she has no record of them owing me money and that she will call me later on that day when the office manager gets in. I didn't receive a phone call at all so I called back at 4 pm only to be told that the office manager isn't in and that I should call back the next day. It is now February 26 and now I'm being told the manager isn't going to be in today either. I just want to know why I haven't received my refund and why I feel like I'm being avoided. They should owe me about half of what I paid for on the beginning. After this is settled, I will be looking for another dentist.
