Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/05/29) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This is not about a door that was installed years ago but about Contractors lack of knowledge of vinyl siding installation.Contractor try to tell me all my studs were not on 16"As I had to explain to him that it is the siding (double hem) that was on 15"The expert contractor didn't even have nail-slot punch or span-lock punch. Also contractor didn't know the difference between the tools. Also I have pictures and video of siding that he installedFour feet of starter strip was hanging loose by this expert siding contractor that I made him remove and do correctly. My so called know it all as he stated comes directly from ABTCO Installation Guide.Due to misappropriation of Trust funds(The Contract) I will be taking legal action. As I stated in first response that I offered to pay for his time and materials but likely I will have remove siding contractor installed and reinstalled correctly. He also misrepresented Freedom Builders as having construction crews which seems to be just himself and his grandson.Sadly my wife meet this guy at Menards and she bragged him up so much that I hired himHe talks good shop but doesn't produce good results.I find it interesting that a guy that has years experience doing siding didn't have tools needed to do the job.(snap -lock punch and nail-slot punch)
