Our old AC quit working Wednesday Oct 12, 2016. We called Freedom Air (found them via [redacted] search, with good ratings) and they scheduled a technician to arrive between 3:00 to 5:00 THAT DAY!! Mike showed up on time, did a thorough check of our system and gave us several options, explaining each option clearly and professionally. We decided to go for purchasing a new system. (Reference "old AC" above.) Fortunately everything we needed was in stock and installation was scheduled for the next day. Cody and Steve (forgive me, Freedom Air, if I have their names incorrect) arrived the next morning on time and worked like maniacs all day - ran into some very challenging roadblocks but worked through those.... like maniacs. Very polite, very professional, wouldn't even take water from us while they were working. After the install was complete, operation of the new system was explained - again, clearly and professionally. And both guys were still smiling when we said goodbye, even though they had a pain-in-the-neck install. (Perhaps they were smiling because they were finally done...) Can't praise Freedom Air enough!!

Of all the a/c companies in Brevard County I made the biggest mistake in my life by hiring Freedom Air. They charged me $49.95 for a tune-up and an additional $220 to replace a $40 thermostat which took two minutes. Their contracts are so vague that they should be illegal. They also service my a/c at my residence. My wife called two hours later and said the unit was blowing nothing but hot air. They were called and said someone could come out in approx. 5 hours. Not exceptable. Turned out they forgot to turn the circuit breaker back on so the outside unit was not operating. One thing that needs to be checked after service is the temperature going into the house from the air handler. Obviously this wasn't checked as the unit was not on. I would never recommend them.

I had Freedom Air out to my home on 11-07-2016 and the tech couldn't have been nicer. He gave my dog a treat (asked first) and then listened to my concerns and thoughts. He quickly addressed the issue and gave me a quote prior to the work being done. He had all the parts with him and made it painless. I really appreciate the professionalism from Meghan who answered the phone to Glen the tech who came out. I would definitely recommend them.

BEST EXPERIENCE YET! I am always hesitant about in home services. But from the phone rep to the tech that came out it was a pleasure. He explained everything and made sure I was comfortable with the repair before competing his work. I give them a A++++ on the customer service and repair. Thank you

Save your time and money and don't call Freedom Air & Heat in Melbourne FL. I was charged $79 for what should've been a free estimate. I've called several times asking to schedule the repairs I need only to get the run-around from their secretary. The owner of Freedom Air & Heat in Melbourne FL clearly doesn't care about his customers at all. I am so disappointed that I was charged $79 for something that should've been free, only to never be called and never have my repairs done. Save your time and money and do not call Freedom Air and Heat Melbourne FL.
