I am having a similar issue with them. They are now billing me for 2017/2018. After fighting with the most rudest employee on the phone. I asked her to send the signed agreement as proof. She just mailed 2 signed agreements (one for 2018 & one for 2019), I don’t remember signing any of these. Furthermore, I sold my house & moved out of state 2 1/2 years ago. Why am I now getting billed. I don’t have any of the tax bills to prove how much my taxes were reduced. I even closed my NY bank accounts, so if I did already pay these invoices I don’t have any proof. I am beyond frustrated with them. Did you pay the invoice in the end?
I have not experienced any problems with Mr. Perry, and his staff. I have found them to be responsive and professional. I have used this service for the past several yearsand have received a tax reduction each time.

The complainant apparently, again, did not call the special homeowner phone number the County agency (that granted the tax reduction) provided to verify the tax savings. As I stated before, my office called that number and they verified the tax savings I billed. He should contact his accountant to verify my numbers, explain that an assessment is the basis for all his property tax bills, and review his relevant tax bills. There is no other information I can provide the homeowner that I haven't already (my prior response with attachments).*** ***
The attached detailed bill for services and two letters from my office attempted to explain to [redacted] why our bill is correct.Because his assessment reduction occurred at the first level (administrative level - see official decision by [redacted]), all tax bills...
for this 2013/14 tax year were reduced before they were issued - i.e., the homeowner never saw the higher tax bills because they were already corrected. My bill calculations, taken off computer data received directly from the County, incorporate all exemptions on that tax roll.As my office recommended to the homeowner in both letters and verbally over the phone, he should call the [redacted] special number (###-###-####) to confirm his savings due to the successful protest. He apparently has not done so as we called this number several days ago and the agency confirmed our billng calculations. (He must call that department and not the Dept. of Assessment which does not provide that service). Also, the homeowners 2013/14 tax rates went up appreciably compared to the previous year - for example, his school rate went up 8%. This also adds to [redacted]'s confusion. [redacted]
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID#[redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved beCAUSEFred N Perry keeps using the word 'ASSESSMENT". That is not the issue . The agreement I signed specifically states that I will pay Fred N. Perry an amount of money "EQUAL TO 40% OF MY DFIRST YEARS SAVINGS" That means that I am obligated to pay them for a percentage of the money they save me. This has nothing to do with the assessment numbers . As I have stated before Fred N. Perrs is using incorrect numbers to calculate my bill. They are confused to beleive that my tax bill was ever $19429. It was not. The original bill before they protested my taxes was $17, 900. Tell them to once again look at my tax bill through [redacted] county and they will see that .

I suspect most reviews will be negative in nature - since people will vent at something they feel they should get - however I've been using Mr. Perry for several years and found him to be very good. I think I only spoke with him once ever - he did seem a bit terse - but yet I recall leaving that phone call satisfied. I give him 4 stars out of a possible 5. Good service provided.
I dealt with Mr. P[redacted] and found him to be unprofessional. Rather than his promotional pitch to help prospective clients rectify unfair assessed values, he very impersonally puts together a list of many, many aggrieved homeowners and looks to a volume windfall when the taxing authorities reduce tax rates or assessed values (with no P[redacted] input) to the true level they wanted to achieve. P[redacted] then claims great success and wants 50% of the first years savings from every homeowner.
When I pursued Mr. P[redacted] to aid in reducing my assessment, he had no interest. His "don't bother me with details" attitude speaks to his primary personal goal: sign up the masses and get a big list into the tax office, trying to get a piece of homeowners false savings. His service is actually a disservice. It's a money grab for something you can do for yourself. Put your own name on the tax reduction list.
Review: I agreed to use the services of Fred N Perry to file a property tax grievance with [redacted] county. The tax grievance was successful. The problem is this:
before the filing of the grievance, my tax bill was as follows. $19, 294. This was a preliminary number to which ** state gave me a star property tax exemption of $1,362. This reduced
my taxes to $17932. The following year After my taxes were successfully grieved , my tax bill went to $16, 168.70.
In addition .** state gave me an additional Star property tax exemption once again reducing my taxes by. $1,418.41. This resulted in a tax bill of $14750.
The problem is that Fred N Perry are claiming that they successfully reduced my taxes from $19, 294 to $14, 750. when in fact they only reduced my taxes from $17932 to $16, 168.70
Inflating my tax savings has resulted in an overcharger of $1162. I have called several times and they refuse to answer my questions , They tell me they will call me back and the result is that they just send me another bill and refuse to answer my questions . I would also like to add that Fred N Perry recieve $40 percent of the savings from a reduced tax bill .Desired Settlement: My goal is to be charged for Fred N Perry reducing my taxes from $17, 932 to $16,168.70.
