I have lived in the Sterling Aptsat [redacted] since FebLast summer the a/c didn't workMy children and I lived her with temperatures in the high 80's sometimes 90'sThey brought us a portable a/c unit but the temperatures never went down below degrees during the dayMy utility bill exceeded $In Oct I was told they ordered a new a/c and would be installing it in a week or soHere it is May and still no new a/cI started asking about the new a/c in Febwhen I paid my rentI asked again in March & AprilI have called them every week, even sometime 2-times a weekOn April 8th I talked to Michael, the managerHe sent the a/c mgr to my aptHe told me the a/c was ordered and would be there soonOn April 15th I was told the a/c unit was here and they were waiting on a craneIt has been a month and I have called them twice a weekNo one has come by or answered my questionsOn May 12th I called again to be told they are waiting on parts and they didn't know when it would be installedIt was today and it was degrees last night in my aptI finally talked to Michael the office mgr and he said they were going to bring me a portable a/c againIt's still in here at 9:pmThey have managed to build a basketball court, tennis court, a doggie walk, paint the outside of all the apts and remove old big trees but they can't manage to make repairs necessary for the welfare of the tenantsI can't afford to move and I can't go through another summer of no working a/c and utilities of $or more because they won't replace or fix the a/cI know they are other tenants living here that are going through the same thingWe don't have anyone to turn to for help and don't know what else to doI would like them to replace the a/c unit and give me a credit or reduction on my rent
