wanted to file a lawsuit and go to trialWhen we declined to commit to taking his case to trial, Mr*** terminated our servicesWe understand that Mr*** is currently trying to settle his case as we recommended that he do for an offer approximately the same as was extended to him when we were representing himWe believe it is appropriate that he compensate this firm for the time spent working on his case and in obtaining essentially the same settlement offer he now wants to acceptUnder Colorado law and the fee agreement that Mr*** signed with this firm, we have the right to assert a lien for the value of our services
