I don't know who this person spoke to. Daily watering is too much water. We recommend every other day. Being rootbound does not hurt the starfruit tree, it would continue growing just fine as long as it's in all day sun, watered every other day. Starfruits are very adaptable
& can grow in many different areas. The tree should survive as long as it gets less water & no fertilizer right now. We do have a policy of no returns but I have one tree left that they can have if they come over in the next few days (except we are closed every Wed & Thurs). They would have to call me to let me know-***
