Really disappointed today because I used them last year and they were great and I love supporting good local business. However, this time I called a week in advance, asked them what times were best for them, and they told me what days they could get me in (keep in mind all I asked for was a quote for the pipes under our mobile home which have to be fixed due to hurricane Michael, it's the last piece of info we need to send in to insurance so we can actually start fixing things. It's been over 30 days since the storm and we're in PCB so the roads are pretty clear now.)
Anyways, the day they had available wasn't the best for me, but I understand they're busy so I took that day off of work. They told me they couldn't give me an exact time, but they made me an "appointment" for that day. Well, that day is now tonight, and I made myself available to them from 7am - 8pm when their hours are. No one showed up. I even called at 11am to double check and they said "yep, you're on the list and someone will be there after lunch around 2pm-3pm." So, it's passed *** business hours right now and no one showed up or reached out. I'm a contractor who usually makes around $300-$400 on an average day. Not even a phone call to tell me they're running behind and to reschedule. Nothing. Radio silence. I didn't even do laundry all day because I didn't want to be using the pipes so they could see the water pressure. I didn't go to the store for stuff I needed so I wouldn't miss them. I didn't do anything except wait for 13hours for them to show up and NO COMMUNICATION! They said they have my number. I understand delays come up, but please keep me in the loop so I don't waste 13 hours of my life and $300-$400 of work for something that never comes! Now we're another week behind on our Michael repairs. I feel like we just got forgotten about because it was just a quote and not an actual job that we would've paid them more for. You'd think being only 2 miles from their building would make it easy for them to swing by.
If you're from the company and you're reading this I'll take it down if you contact me in a timely manner and try to make it right somehow, if not, I'm just going to go somewhere else. I could understand if I'm asking for same or next day service, but not if I call a week ahead and choose a day that YOU said you could get me in. Extremely disappointed. Maybe in this case going corporate would've been better....
Mr. We are sorry you have been inconvenienced. Right now Our phones and internet work only half the time and we have lost 1/3 of our staff due to Hurricane Michael. We are trying our best to help everyone we can as we can get in touch with them with the staff we have. We were not able to communicate back to you due to our phone system was out from 1pm yesterday till almost 5. I would have hoped people would be a little more understanding considering we just had a major disaster hit us. WE are taking care of people with no water and broken or stopped up sewer lines first. If we failed you I am truly sorry.
I totally understand. When I called, the guy on the phone said it was only your WiFi that was in and out and that I was on the list and the system. I understand that things come up, and I'm totally understanding. I am on the Beach side very close to you and the phones work just fine. That's how I called every time. And even if your phones are working half the time, you had a 6.5 hour window you could've called me to let me know what was up instead of saying you would be there in a few hours. Also if you say you're phones were out from 1pm-5pm you had from 7am-1pm and 5pm-8pm to at least call me and let me know what was happening. I'm totally understanding that other people in our community don't even have water right now and I would be totally willing to step aside for people in more need than me, I just wanted to be communicated with so I didn't waste a 13 hour day waiting around for you when I had an APPOINTMENT. Don't book the appointment if you can't keep it if you're too crazy busy. Yes you did fail to communicate. I'm just going with somewhere else so I don't have another 13 hour mystery day where I lose business and time wondering what's going on. Also, please don't try to hide behind the hurricane to cover up for your lack of communication, it's unprofessional. One phone call during the 8 hours that you say your phones were working and I would've been totally understanding.
Also, I find it interested you still haven't actually called and it took a bad review on the Revdex.com site to get your attention.
Ok, if you are only helping people with no water and emergencies right now, and not doing quotes, then why was I not told this up front and scheduled for an appointment? I would be totally understanding and go somewhere else or wait if I was told that. Instead, I was told by someone answering your phones that it could be done and for me to be available from 7am-8pm. Also, there's the issue of when I called at 11am the same day, there was another opportunity to tell me you were only helping people with no water, but instead I was told you would be there in a few hours. And if your phones weren't working from 1pm-5pm, then there were 5 hours before and 3 hours after that time window, that you could've called to let me know it couldn't be done today.
I am not upset that you were helping other people in the community, I am upset that I was not communicated with. And I was told opposite information with your company on the phone, than with what you are saying now.
Dear Sir. We explained very diligently why we did not call you on the eve of your appointment to simply view a job. I have chosen not to call you back as after a very great tragedy, with internet and phone service constantly being interrupted, our ability to take care of as many people as we can reach, you chose this time to decide to bad mouth us. With that being said, that is why I have chosen not to call you back sir. If you would write this about us when we are held hostage to phones and computers not working, I can't imagine what working for you would be like. Thank you sir.
Sir, I was no longer expecting or even wanting a call back at this point. The facts are still the same. You asked me to give you 13hrs of my day, but you couldn't even give me 5 minutes of yours when you say your phones were working for 9 of those hours. Post-hurricane or not, those are the facts and it's still no way to treat someone, especially during this time. As a result, I have zero interest in working with your company as well. Thank you
