The roof in question was contracted to me through another company, that built the house, [redacted] ***They are the ones that installed the ice and water shield, not meI was only hired to install the shinglesThe company that put the ice and water shield on went out of business many years agoThe shingles in question were [redacted] shingles, that unfortunately have had many recalls on themThere are many class action suits currently pending with themWe did get a picture of the ice and water shield, but no pictures of rot or damage and no testimony from another contractorI am very sorry for Mr [redacted] problems, however they are not due to my roofing being installed incorrectlyI have been in business for over years, installed thousands of roofs and never had a problem such as this before
