Mr*** was informed at the time of purchase that he would be responsible to either pay the Illinois state tax in the amount of $either at the time of signing his purchase and loan contract OR he could pay the state tax directly to the state of Illinois. He was told that he has up to
days to pay this amount as the dealership is not required to collect the tax. Mr *** chose to pay the state within the days as he did not have the additional $required at the time of the signing. This was explained to Mr *** a minimum of two times by the sales person and the finance manager
One seller did not tell me about address issue.two financial guy was told I lived in Wisconsin. They filled my paperwork for Illinois my mail goes there but Wisconsin address is on my license. Plus in Wisconsin isn't there a three day cool off period. Why the didn't answer or return my call. I called several times. Then after the 15 day period they final get around contacting me. I did my interview with suntander finance company they had no problem with it but it was on the dealer to fix it. So I was ignored and felt now they are lying.
I received you letter addressing a complaint you had from one of our customers. Unfortunately there is not a lot I can share because of the privacy laws and the nature of the complaint. What I can tell you is that we needed additional information from the customer to process her loan and she...
did not provide that information in a timely manner. Many attempts were made to get the information from her over the course of a couple weeks and until we received that information we were unable to book the loan and payoff her trade. We finally got the information we needed and her trade was paid off. Though this transaction went on for essentially 20 days, there certainly would not be any report to her credit bureau for a late payment. If she can provide a copy of her credit report showing that there is a delinquent payment mark against her due to our actions, we would be happy to help her resolve the issue.

Mr [redacted]’s complaint is based on the payment amount. During the paperwork signing process the payment amount is displayed and explained. The customer also signs a contract agreeing to pay this amount. If Mr. [redacted] was not in agreement with the payment he should have stated his...
concern and he should not have signed the contract agreeing to the monthly payment. The dealership can not alter the amount owed by a customer to a lender. Mr. [redacted] said that he was told he was locked in to buy the vehicle because the dealership got it from another dealer. He was not told this and it is not the dealership's practice to ever make this statement as a customer is not obligated to purchase due to a dealer trade.When we reached out to Jeremy to make an appointment to complete the warranty work, Mr. [redacted] informed us that he has sold the Explorer.
