We had been looking to replace our pool maintenance provider and contacted Foxx Pools by Charles Burger, which had advertised in our area. Our initial contact at the end of fall 2015 was quite cordial and professional; the company assured us that we could rely on them when the season opened the following summer. So we contacted them in May 2016- and received no response. After a few attempts, we received an apologetic e-mail assuring us that all was fine. However, subsequent e-mail messages and a phone call went unanswered, despite the assurance that all was fine. This evening, after a long wait and no response, we fired Foxx Pools- before they had even started. What a disaster. And what an example of false first impressions.
